S.S. Homestay in Jaldhaka- A perfect place.

 

It was an evening time around 5:30 when I have reached to this homestay. After having a cup of coffee, the homestay host Sri, Sangey Sherpa politely says with a beautiful smile in his face, we welcome our every visitors as our guest in our homestay. we make every efforts to pleased our guests and allow every guests to get to know the culture of our place more closely. The main motive of our homestay to give the visitors an affordable and homely feel to stay, which is away from urban crowd.

Set in Rateypani, Jaldhaka, features accommodation of four double bedrooms having attached bathrooms by Jaldhaka river side and the Dragon kingdom Bhutan at the other side of the river. It is very convenient just five minute's walk from Jholung bazar town and only if you intend to walk, otherwise the vehicles are always available at anytime. The property is only 1.1 kilometer from the main market. 

The rooms of homestay are very simple and traditional type, normally seen in every home in the hills not over fancy or overly decorated. The four double bedrooms has attached bathroom and toilet, smart television has been provided in each room. Homestay having bus stop just outside the driveway with services connected to mazor places of Jaldhaka and Siliguri.

 

Providing a beautiful backward section with organic vegetable garden and camping site for those who loves to spend in outdoor. The main part of the homestay facilities are, those who wants to spend quality time at the river bank, it is just down side of homestay, a minute walk to the river. And most importantly, one can visit the hanging footpath bridge which connects to neighbouring country Bhutan. To step into Bhutanese side you have to cross the bridge.

Besides this we provide all organic vegetables, which are usually grown in our village and local chicken  is also available if anyone orders, and that is excluded.

How to get there, First you have to reach Jholung bazar, Jholung bazar is 95 kilometers away from Siliguri and 45 kilometers away from Malbazar. After reaching at Jholung bazar, take a cab to Rateypani and you are at home.
